I always wanted to learn and felt it was always just a dream. But when I bought my own pair and started practicing I realized it was possible. I started skating while working long shifts as a chef in members clubs and the only time I could practice skating was after work, going railing to railing just about making it home. Everyday getting better and more confident. I’m largely self-taught but I have learnt so much along the way from good friends and acquaintances, through our shared passion of skating. This journey really is your own but you can learn so much from others. Every time I put them on I’m still learning new things. If my story means anything it shows that anyone can learn, anyone can start, and fulfill that dream which is SKATING! Skating is an extension of your body and is all about expression. All you need to start is the desire to learn and some skates!
