Kids Beginners Roller skating classes for Quads and Inline Skaters! Welcome to the Landshark family! Skating all about freedom and expression we are looking to find your flow and teach you everything you need to achieve your dream of roller skating! These classes are designed to give any new skater the confidence and skills needed to skate safely and enjoyably. In these classes, we will guide you through the basics of skating in a friendly and safe environment. We will cover : proper stance, balance and give you the tools you need to progress. You will also learn how to properly push, turn, and stop. Located in Decathlon Surrey Quays activity hall. We have the most perfect smooth surface to start on our skating journey. These classes are perfect for anyone who wants to learn how to skate and have a great time doing it. this session is 60 minutes and starts with a 10 minute full body stretch in skates. I always wanted to learn and felt it was always just a dream. But when I bought my own pair and started practicing I realized it was possible. I started skating while working long shifts as a chef in members clubs and the only time I could practice skating was after work, going railing to railing just about making it home. Everyday getting better and more confident. I’m largely self-taught but I have learnt so much along the way from good friends and acquaintances, through our shared passion of skating. This journey really is your own but you can learn so much from others. Every time I put them on I’m still learning new things. If my story means anything it shows that anyone can learn, anyone can start, and fulfill that dream which is SKATING! Skating is an extension of your body and is all about expression. All you need to start is the desire to learn and some skates!
