
Mindful Hatha Flow for Strength and Flexibility
Yoga Intermediate Adults (over 18 years old)
What to expect from our Hatha flow: this class is designed for yogis who are familiar with the fundamentals of yoga and would like to try more challenging poses. We will always flow slowly and mindfully through carefully sequences poses to ensure we strengthen and open the parts of the body we are ultimately going to require for our peak poses later in the class. I will provide variations so there is no pressure to attempt a pose which you are not ready for. However I will guide and encourage you into our peak poses if you feel ready to give them a try. The emphasis is on getting into the body so we can use the poses to improve strength and flexibility. If you are not sure whether this class is for you please don't hesitate to contact me. You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat, blocks, strap or you can use mine I always bring plenty of spares! The studio is upstairs at Giltbrook Decathlon, it is a private space and its very spacious and welcoming. The perfect environment for practicing yoga. A little bit about me: I have been practicing yoga for more than 10 years, initially alongside a corporate career until 2019 when I travelled to India to study yoga and become a qualified yoga teacher, studying hatha, vinyasa & ashtanga. I continued with my teacher training gaining qualifications in yin and most recently advanced vinyasa. My Qualifications are: 200hr YTT (ashtanga, vinyasa & hatha), 60hr YTT (Yin), 300hr (advanced vinyasa) and I’m registered with Yoga Alliance Professionals.
