
Community Yoga Class
Yoga Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced Adults (over 18 years old)
Community yoga classes are accessible and inclusive, beginners and experienced yogis are welcome! There are many benefits to practicing yoga, this class focuses on increasing your mobility and strength. I give plenty of time and space to move through both traditional and contemporary yoga poses. Classes are sequenced mindfully to prepare your body and empower you to find your expression of the poses safely. You are welcome to bring your own yoga mat, blocks, strap or you can use mine I always bring plenty of spares! The studio is upstairs at Giltbrook Decathlon, it is a private space and its very spacious and welcoming. A little bit about me: I have been practicing yoga for more than 10 years, initially alongside a corporate career until 2019 when I travelled to India to study yoga and become a qualified yoga teacher, studying hatha, vinyasa & ashtanga. I continued with my teacher training gaining qualifications in yin and most recently advanced vinyasa. My Qualifications are: 200hr YTT (ashtanga, vinyasa & hatha), 60hr YTT (Yin), 300hr (advanced vinyasa) and I’m registered with Yoga Alliance Professionals. Lastly a portion of the proceeds from my Community Yoga classes will go to a charity that I volunteered with last year called Yoga and Sport With Refugees.
