Kiprun Run Club & Swifty Mondays

Join the Kiprun Run Club for our monthly run, this time taking in the stunning views of Central London, Hyde Park, Westminster, the Thames and Southwark. We are very happy to also be joining forces with our local partner club, Swifty Mondays, a free and friendly running community based in Bermondsey. Starting from our store in Kensington (W8 7RL), we will run just over 8 miles to our store in Canada Water (SE16 7FU). The entire time at a pace you feel comfortable at, lead by our team of pacers, who will be running in groups at varying speeds (5:00/km, 5:30/km, 6:00/km, 6:30/km, 7:00/km, 7:30/km, 8:00/km, 8:30/km). In our starting store you will be able to test out some pre run nutrition, to help get you fired up for the 8 mile run. There will be very limited quantities of Kiprun shoes to test for the run. All pacers will bring some nutrition items with them during the run, so no need to worry about your energy levels dropping. After the run, feel free to enjoy some post run nutrition, as well as a small massage and recovery workshop. During the run, your personal belongings (e.g. bags and shoes) that you left at our store in Kensington will be transported along to our store in Canada Water, and will be waiting for you by the time we get back, so no need to go back to Kensington. Running a Spring Marathon? This will be the perfect Sunday Long Run at this stage of your training plan, giving you a chance to test your fueling strategy, potential shoe choices, and most importantly, get crucial mileage in with other likeminded runners, on a beautiful route through the City.
