Beginner-friendly Skateboarding Sessions
Skateboarding Beginner, Intermediate 6 to 60 years old Payment on site
Have you ever wanted to try skateboarding out?? Come and try it out at Decathlon!! Skate Haven CIC is a non-profit organisation hosting affordable beginner-friendly weekly sessions. These are open free-skate sessions but experienced coaches are on-site to oversee that the session flows smoothly. Beginners will receive more instruction and supervision than more experienced participants. All the necessary equipment is available (included in the price). If it is your first time, you may want to come 10 minutes early to get the most out of your session. This leaves some time for gearing up and getting briefed on some basic skills and rules. Skate Haven CIC is committed to supporting young people in their journeys to becoming confident independent skateboarders. We are organising other skateboard-related programmes (skate trips, summer programmes) and workshops (grip-tape art, obstacle building) to enrich our young people's journeys. We work in partnership with youth charities and centres and we invite disadvantaged young people registered at such services (including CAMHS) to participate in our sessions for free. Please do not hesitate to get in contact for any reason. Check us out and give us a shout @skatehavencic. Loved that it wasn’t that busy and my son was looked after. The guys running the event were very flexible with the arrangements and I appreciated that a lot!Translate ReportRosie
The instructors are amazing. My daughter loves coming to these sessions! A really accessible way for her to do something she wouldn’t normally have the opportunity to do.Translate ReportKellie
