Cancelled due to so many people dropping out. Poor show by the public for something that would have taken an hour out of their lives.

event was cancelled on the day. only knew this when i arrived at the store. an email was sent an hour before the scheduled start time to my email address but i was already travelling up to store by then as i live a fair distance away. please - it would be better to cancel it a couple of days before to save my wasted journey.
