Pilates is a low impact exercise class suitable for all abilities focusing on improving core and back strength, posture, balance and flexibility. Each class lasts one hour and begins with mobilisation and breathwork followed by a combination of standing and matwork exercises to work the whole body finishing with full body stretching and relaxation. Options are given throughout the class to work at a level that suits every participant. A variety of equipment is used during the classes to enhance, support and progress our Pilates such as bands, light weights and Pilates balls which will be provided when required. Participants will leave class feeling revived, refreshed and walking that little bit taller. Come along and discover the whole body benefits of Pilates for yourself. Classes take place in the fitness studio at Decathlon, Giltbrook on Tuesday nights 6.45pm with a Level 3 qualified instructor who brings her knowledge and experience of the fitness industry to this fun, inclusive and effective class.
