This was our 1st experience of a Decathlon play day, a well organised great day out for all the family.

I went to the Decathlong playdays event at Woodbank Park and it was really fun. Kids had a great. So many fun activties like creative designed bikes, tent setup, wall climbing, bow and arrow, football drills etc were all fun. Hope this becomes a regular activity if not every month, then at least quarterly across multiple locations.

I went with my 5 year old son and sadly it was a massive let down. Many bikes were broken and no control over usage. Rule of the jungle really…. Because there were too many people for the limited activities, it resulted long queues. My son patiently waited a very long time for table tennis but another family just pushed in (the staff did nothing ) and that was the point when we cut our losses and just left…. No time limit on activities either. Chaos and sad kids all across. No food, no drink. The discount given for the store was valid on the same weekend only which is pretty much pointless. Honestly I love decathlon, the store is great, this was not even close to the standard I would expect from the brand. The organiser totally oversold the tickets and definitely not a parent cos many things were not thought through …<br>

Very nice event! It would be good if the place could provide more parking areas.

Daughter won a £100 voucher which was amazing. We were there about 90mins and didn’t really do a huge amount. There was A LOT of queueing for not a lot of activity time so you could add more activities and invite the same amount of people next time but other than that it was decent! Grass needed a cut as it was very long. And there was a massive open space and only 1/3 was being used.
