Rushden Lakes Explorer WALX

 Today's walk starts from the unique Rushden Lakes where retail meets Nature and Wildlife. A flat walk through to Stanwick Lakes offers plenty of opportunity to view the birds that visit the lakes in this wetland area. The flat nature of this track lends itself well to getting a bit of pace for sections in order to improve our Cardiovascular systems. You may even see some Highland Cattle and Rare Breed sheep along the way. With a stop at the Cafe at Stanwick Lakes to re-fuel before our return to Rushden Lakes. 6 miles
