TUESDAY YOUTH TENNIS 5-8 Y.O. (CWTennis)

IMPROTANT: Only for children who turn 5 on the 1st September or older. This Course runs every Tuesday at 5pm for 1 hour between 7th January and 1st April 2025 (Half term break from 17th - 23rd February). This class outdoor at Decathlon rooftop tennis court. COURSE DATES 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th January; 4th, 11th, 25th February; 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th March; 1st April RED STAGE 5-8 Y.O. Players learn to serve, rally and score with a slow ball, as well as learning the movement and coordination skills required for tennis. CLOTHING The key factors are comfort, practicality and the ability to move freely in your clothes. During the winter period we would recommend players to wear thermal clothes, hats and gloves with grip (tennis gloves). WEATHER Please be prepared for the British weather - sun hats, sun cream and rain gear!!! We usually carry on whatever the weather, unless persistent heavy rain makes the court unplayable. The coaching staff will endeavour to send a text message to players notifying of lesson cancellation due to adverse weather. Please note the coaching team makes every endeavour for lessons to continue as scheduled, therefore the team aims to give a minimum 30 minutes notice of a cancelled lesson if possible. If you do not receive a text message notifying of wet weather cancellation, your lesson will continue as scheduled. If the lesson is interrupted due to bad weather conditions within the first 15 minutes of the lesson, we will provide a refund to you. After 20 minutes, full charge will be taken. 🎾CAR PARKING There is a free car park on the Decathlon premises, as well as bicycle racks.
